Michelle Joy has a background in education, small business, organisational development and logistics. She is a highly accomplished HR and organisational development executive and change manager, having lead the Group Organisational Development and People portfolio across Asia Pacific for a multi-billion dollar Australian logistics company.
Michelle has key experience leading organisational change, executive and business unit development, and linking organisational alignment to commercial imperatives across large, cross-cultural, multi-site enterprises. Michelle's qualifications are in business, education and organisational development from RMIT, the University of Melbourne and Harvard Business School.
Michelle has run a successful consultancy working across many sectors in the field of safety, sustainability, organisational development, project management and HR. The breadth of this delivery from pro bono to local manufacturing, the wool industry and the non-for-profit sector shows the regard in which she is held. Michelle's passions lie in the areas of project management, sustainability, innovation, talent management and executive development. The move to Autonomous Transport Solutions Pty Ltd taps into all these areas, allowing Michelle to fulfill her dream role while venturing into an exciting, state of the art field, barely visualised by all but cartoonists until recently.
President research and strategy
Professor David McInnes has a broad career
in education, automotive research,
logistics, sustainability, environmental science
and now autonomous transport.
David was appointed by Monash Sustainability Institute as a Professorial Fellow in 2012 in recognition of his work in sustainability and his capacity to contribute to future sustainability programs conducted at Monash.
He is an experienced educator and business manager with a passion for sustainability. His background has ranged across educational delivery and planning, business development, company management, local government, research and sustainable business practices.
David’s tertiary education background includes education, accounting, management and post graduate studies at Cambridge University in Sustainability. He is a holder of the Australian Public Service medal, a Fellow of the Australian College of Education and is a Professorial Fellow at Monash University.
Most recently David has joined the Board of Autonomous Transport Solutions with the executive role of President, Research and Strategy. In this role he is conducting research and developing insights into the future of the industry. Under the auspices of Autonomous Transport Solutions David is leading organisations and their executives to understand and envisage the new world of the internet of things which will impact all aspects of our commercial and social environment.
Analyst
Our third team member is Angus Dwyer who has studied Arts at Swinburne University majoring in Economics and politics.
Angus brings analytical skills and training, environmental awareness, and energy to our team.
As a member of Generation Z, Angus is the member of our team most likely to experience the impacts of climate change and contributes as a highly motivated and enthusiastic team member.
His role in ATS includes administrative support to our principal consultants, maintenance of company accounting records, social media and company newsletter strategy.
